Before every session your therapist will sit down with you to determine the best technique (or combination of techniques) to fit your particular health needs. We encourage you to view our therapist's individual profiles to find the practitioners whose style best fits your needs. However, all of our therapists charge the same rate for all basic styles (including Swedish, deep tissue, and myofascial release.)

SHIATSU MASSAGE: Shiatsu is a Japanese form of therapeutic massage in which pressure is applied with the thumbs and palms to those areas on the body used in acupuncture. It is performed fully clothed, and on a floor mat rather than a table. The rates for Shiatsu massage are the same as those for our regular custom therapeutic massage, above. To schedule a Shiatsu appointment or to simply learn out more about Shiatsu, see our certified Shiatsu practitioner, Jenn Poulin.

COUPLES MASSAGES: Although each of our practitioners operates seperately, we are happy to team up with each other so that you and a friend can come in together at the same time (commonly refered to as a "couples massage"). The best way to coordinate this is to pick one therapist and contact them directly. He or she will then help you coordinate with a second therapist to set up the appointment. Please note that we do not have a "couples room" (each massage will be in a separate room.)
HOT STONE MASSAGE: Smooth basalt stones are heated to a comfortable temperature and placed on strategic areas of the body to soothe and relax. A full body massage is then performed by the therapist using both his/her hands, and warm stones, to melt away muscle tension and stress.
The hot stone massage can be performed as a gentle technique, but it can also be incorporated into deeper therapeutic work. As with all of our massages, your therapist will talk with you to find the level of pressure that you prefer.
Hot Stone is not recommendedfor those with high-blood pressure, or who may be pregant.

DO ANY OF YOUR PRACTITIONERS ACCEPT INSURANCE?
None of the practices at our center currently accept insurance. However, many insurance plans do have out of network benefits which will reimburse patients for a percentage of their therapy costs after they meet their deductible. You can contact your insurance company to find out what your plan will cover.
