Michael Weiss holds a masters’ degree in acupuncture from Tai Sophia Institute. His approach with patients can be summed up in the words of Dr. William Osler, “It is much more important to know what sort of a patient has a disease than what sort of a disease a patient has.” Michael focuses on treating the whole person, taking into account how one shows up in every aspect of one’s life. Michael compassionately guides his patients to awareness of habits and lifestyle choices that are practiced unconsciously, which is the beginning to living a more healthy, pain-free life.

Before pursuing a degree in acupuncture, Michael spent more than a decade working as an aide to a United States Senator. Michael first encountered acupuncture when a sports injury led him to a surgeon who recommended he try it.
